My name is Jeremiah, I’m 26 and I live in Maine. I’ve been married since June 2005, and I have two cats and a dog (a miniature dachshund!). I’m currently working as a drafter for a structural engineer.
Drafting works for now, and it’s something I’m really good at, but it’s not something I want to do forever. Ideally, I’d like to get at least a four year degree in something else - Communications looks interesting - and eventually own my own business, or at least work in a place that I can be creative and have fun.
Whatever I do, it has to have enough freedom and flexibility to let me travel and play some too. I’m willing to work for now to get there, but I don’t want to live my life two days at a time (weekends) forever, and I’m willing to live more simply to do it.
My wife, Laura, is easily the best thing to happen to me, ever. Where I’m a dreamer she’s a pragmatist, where she’s unsure I’m confident, she keeps me grounded and I keep her going, we complement each other perfectly. No matter what happens, we’ll still have each other.
